Celebrating Community Heroes

The Kilburg Family Courage Award was created by the Loyola Women’s Soccer program in honor of the Kilburg family and in recognition of the team’s continued support of the Jim Kilburg Memorial Foundation.

The award is presented annually to a Loyola Women’s Soccer player who demonstrates courage, commitment, and dedication both on and off the field.

We are proud to recognize Alaina Abel as the first recipient of this award. Alaina has brought tremendous awareness to alopecia and supported children facing similar challenges. Her advocacy, strength, and dedication make her a true role model for her teammates and community.

We are grateful to the Loyola Women’s Soccer program for creating this award and for their continued support of the Kilburg family and the foundation.
